This comfortable, newly redecorated home welcomes you with floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of amazing wide water views of the lake and Smith Mountain -- one of the best on the lake! There is high speed Xfinity cable internet and tv in the home, but everyone will want to put down their devices, and enjoy the outdoor activities available for the entire family! On the main level, the living room is open to the dining room and kitchen, with plenty of seating for everyone to gather and not feel cramped. The kitchen is a chef's dream, fully equipped, with room for both chefs in the family... and maybe some helpers too! This level has 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, including 1 master suite, 2 additional large bedrooms and an oversized bunk room and lounge area perfect for the kids. Outdoors on the main level (no stairs!), the decks are generous with plenty of seating for everyone and allow for the best sunset and sunrise views. There is a gas grill for the grillmaster in your group to cook their most recent lake catch, or burgers and hot dogs. The lower level has a large rec room with wide-screen TV, game area with foosball, air hockey, and shuffleboard, and even a kitchenette and second dining area for preparing snacks for the kids. There are games, puzzles and a selection of DVD movies, too, for the occasional pop-up thunderstorm in late summer.

The sunroom, located just off the rec room, with its wall-to-wall windows and unique wood and stone walls is a tucked-away spot to sit, read a book, play a game, or simply relax with a favorite beverage as you take in the view. A 3rd full bath is conveniently located on the lower level with easy access to the rec room, sunroom, and outdoor areas. The lower level patio extends to an outdoor seating area with firepit for star-gazing and making Smores, and a cornhole game conveniently located on the lawn. This wooded lot is beautifully landscaped providing lots of privacy. You'll experience a tranquil, relaxing oasis, with a one-of-a-kind unobstructed view of Smith Mountain and magnificent wide water view of the lake. A gently sloping path leads to the covered stationary dock, and a floater dock, with plenty of seating and space for water toys and lake gear. The quiet inlet offers a protected swimming area for the little ones, and a secure place to tie-up your boat. The open cove to the right is the spot to be on the two kayaks provided with your stay. There is no way for kids to be bored here! Smith Mountain Landing is the perfect place for your family to make memories they will cherish for years to come. Stay a week or longer.
